Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective Date: 17 October 2025
This policy governs cancellations, refunds, and international payment handling for all Website Design, Development, and Digital Marketing services provided by Tathagata Infotech Pvt Ltd through Hostit.co.in.
1. General
We value transparency and customer satisfaction, maintaining fair guidelines for cancellations and refunds.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Project cancellations are accepted only before work begins or within 2 days of payment, whichever occurs first.
- Once the project has started, cancellation may incur proportional charges for completed work and non-recoverable third-party costs.
- Third-party tools, ad credits, plugins, or software licenses purchased for a project are non-refundable.
- Ongoing Digital Marketing retainers can be cancelled with a 30-day written notice before the next billing cycle.
- All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to support@hostit.co.in from the registered client email address.
3. Refund Policy
- Refunds are eligible only if the project has not commenced, or in exceptional cases where the Company fails to deliver the agreed scope of work.
- Partial refunds for in-progress projects will be assessed based on the proportion of completed work.
- Once creatives, campaigns, or development milestones have been delivered, payments become non-refundable.
- Paid advertisement spends (Google, Meta, or other platforms) are consumed directly and cannot be refunded.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method.
3A. International Payments & Refunds
- The Company accepts payments from international clients in Indian Rupees (INR) or United States Dollars (USD), depending on the agreed payment mode.
- All international payments shall be processed only through RBI-authorised gateways such as Razorpay, PayPal, Stripe, or via SWIFT/TT wire transfer into the Company’s designated current account.
- For foreign-currency payments, the receiving bank will convert the amount into INR at the prevailing exchange rate on the settlement date. The bank’s rate shall be final and binding.
- Any foreign bank charges, intermediary bank fees, gateway charges, or currency-conversion costs are borne by the Client unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Refunds for international transactions will be processed in INR based on the amount credited to the Company’s account after currency conversion and deduction of applicable transfer or gateway fees.
- Cross-border payment or refund timelines may vary due to intermediary bank processing or compliance checks. The Company shall not be liable for delays or differences arising from such external factors.
4. Dispute Resolution
All disputes arising from cancellations, payments, or refunds shall be governed by the laws of India and fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
